After a break in the group seminars as we (tried to) accomodate to the current, pandemic-related circunstances, ALTER has retaken the conversation with other scholars with the virtual visit of Agnès Garcia Ventura, a soon-to-be Ramón y Cajal postdoctoral researcher at UAB.
Garcia Ventura’s discussion of her pioneering research on ancient Middle Eastern history from the perspective of gender and intersectional studies, which she contextualized and discussed with members of the group, was a major inspiration. Similarly, her insights into our current projects will surely prove productive. Many thanks!
